Custom games
A game that carries your message.
For businesses, agencies, and public and educational institutions, we develop or adapt a tabletop game: for a brand message, a learning activity, an event or a gift.

What we do
Four types of project
-
A new game
Development from the idea onwards: concept, mechanics, content and a prototype we test with players.
-
Adaptation and personalization
An existing game or a deck of playing cards adapted to your content, language and visual identity.
-
Gamifying your content
We turn your material, such as knowledge, values or a story, into a game with clear rules.
-
Producing a finished design
If your game is already designed, we can discuss print preparation and manufacture.
How a project works
Purpose and starting points
What the game should achieve, who will play it and in what setting.
Concept and mechanics
Rules that support your message or learning purpose.
Content and prototype
Texts, tasks or questions, and a first test copy.
Playtesting
Play sessions with testers, then revisions to rules and content.
Graphic design
Coordinating the artwork with your visual identity.
Production
Print preparation and manufacture of the agreed print run.
Not every project needs every step. For an adaptation or a finished design, we start where your project already is.
Purpose
Where a custom game helps
A game invites people to the same table and into conversation. What you achieve with it depends on the purpose, the content and how the game is used, so we define the purpose at the start.
- A brand message in a form people take home.
- A learning activity in a classroom, workshop or training session.
- An event where a game encourages people to meet and take part.
- A business gift that invites the recipient to play.
Print run and scope
Scope, timeline and print run are agreed for each project. Custom projects are generally planned for print runs of around 500 copies or more, but this is not a fixed requirement for every service. If you need fewer copies, write to us anyway.
Price, payment, delivery and rights for your project are confirmed in a written offer.

Next step
Send a short description of your idea.
You do not need a detailed plan for a first conversation. A few sentences about the purpose and the people who will play are enough. The link opens your email app, where you review the message and send it yourself.
What to write
- Purpose: what the game should achieve or communicate.
- Players: who it is for, for example employees, customers or students.
- Setting: an event, a lesson, a workshop or a gift.
- What you already have: content, materials or a designed game.
- Approximate quantity and timing, if you already know them.
